This is a meatlovers dream! It is one of the rare few restaurants where you can eat tail to nose. If I would live in Bordeaux I would be here often to taste myself through the vast menu. The wine selection is huge and the recommendation of the waiter was spot on.
I started my lunch with the tricandilles, fried porc intestines, in a parsley garlic sauce. The portion was huge and it tasted way better than I thought it would. I generally like offal so whenever I have the chance I like to try something new. My wife opted for the pate de campagne, which was awesome as well.
As main we had the Cote de Porc Kintoa, which is made from a specific race of pigs that roam freely. The meat was tender and soft and the fat was soo tasty. I usually don’t eat the fat, but this was something else.simply delicious.
Given the vast options of meats I will come back to try more when I am again in Bordeaux. I specifically have the black pudding and lamb shoulder on my list.
The portions were very generous so I recommend to come when hungry!- Service

Shit happens, what a fun at Cochon Volant - interior red and white, waiters excellent, we had snails, lamb chops and excellent vin blanc. End of bill, I believe I can fly :)

Pate and bone marrow to start were delicious and rich. Veal chop and duck breast for main were tasty all served with chips and salad - pretty much cooked really well. The most wonderful meal and experience. Every single plate we had was outstanding, the waiters were so friendly and the atmosphere was bubbly on a Saturday night as everyone tucked into their plates. The best meal we had in Bordeaux and one we will not forget soon. Highly recommend getting the pig leg 😍

Excellent flesh-centric supper. A truely outstanding restaurant experience from the location (off the beaten track) to the interior (nonchalant bistro) to the hospitality (calm, warm, experienced). Oysters brilliant and tartare very good - menu full of wonderful sounding things. Go in a group so you can taste plenty!
Found this place as we were looking for somewhere to eat around the markets and had one of the best feed in Borduex. The interior itself is bistro and very cute and service was friendly. No English menu here and I got the grilled duck as a main and the portion was substantial and meat was cooked to perfection.
So authentic! Tricandilles are as good as my Grandma's ones (¬ only)!!!

What a great place to dine when you're in Bordeaux. The guy running the place was a true gentlemen and always served with a smile. He helped with choosing dishes and wines. Food and service was great! Highly recommended.
A charming restaurant behind the Marché des Capucins. The interiors are typical of a quaint traditional french bistro. The duck is tasty, succulent and cooked perfectly. The chips are well seasoned and very crispy. The proximity to the market also ensure that produce is fresh!
Superb! Was highly recommended and I can see why. This is a must do food stop when in Bordeaux.

Always a great place to come with friends and family. Palombe is the last meal I ate and it was really delicious. Home made French fries as always ... !

Reserved there for 6 late arrival at 22h30. We were on the spot on time but our 4 friends flight was late . They finally arrived after midnight but the owner was nice to welcome them and serve a late meal. Very good food in particular if you like meat and charcuterie. Large wine selection. Funny team joking whilst serving, we had a very good time.
